Sunday WorldSBK Race Two
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) conducted another masterclass of cool-headed riding at a pace none of his rivals could quite stay with to take the Race Two win, extending his consecutive race win stats to ten in a row – just one away from equalling the record.
The only rider even close to Razgatlioglu was eventual second placed rider to Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati). Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Team) posted his first podium since the opening round in Australia to take third, after many potential top contenders suffered hefty misfortunes.
Another P1 for Toprak in WorldSBK.
Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Ducati)
collided going into T1 and both fell to no-score. Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven Ducati) was also run-off track in this incident, but he stayed on.
Alex Lowes (Kawasaki Racing Team) suffered a double long-lap penalty for jump starting and that meant his chance of a podium, from a front row start, was gone before the first corner.
Remy Gardner (GRT Yamaha) placed fourth, and an ever-improving Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) fifth.
Jonathan Rea (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Team) made it three Yamahas inside the top six places.
Michael Ruben Rinaldi (MotoCorsa Racing Ducati) was seventh and top Independent rider. Iannone recovered from his Turn One blameless run-off to take eighth.
Alex Lowes battled away for ninth, which he was given after Iker Lecuona (HRC Honda), was penalised for a shortcut time infringement on the final lap.
In the championship standings, on the completion of the halfway point of the series, Razgatlioglu has 303 points, Bulega 239, Bautista 199 (more than 100 from Toprak) and Lowes 179.

Sunday WorldSBK Superpole Race
Just for a change, the holeshot and early lead from Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) did not last, as first Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and then Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) passed him on lap one, only for the Turkish superstar to reassert himself and eke out a small, but clear, lead in the final half of the race.
Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Ducati) had a bizarre and horrible-looking highside entering T1 on lap three, flying over his bike and banging his head hard. He slid to the outside of the track and then onto the gravel. He was lucky to be missed by the following Scott Redding (Bonovo Action BMW). Redding could not miss Lowes’ bike, however, and he too would fall.
Toprak Razgatlioglu takes the chequered flag in the WorldSBK Sprint Race.
There was no red flag as Lowes and Redding were helped away by the Marshalls, and the race moved towards its conclusion.
The final podium order looked like it was going to be Toprak, Nicolo and Alvaro, until a strange final lap attempted pass from Bautista into T1 saw him run in too deep, Bulega pull out of the turn and run across the gravel, then Bautista ran wide on the entry to T2 and toppled over in the gravel, his race over.
Bulega rejoined the track just in front of Alex Lowes (Kawasaki Racing Team) and he only just held onto second place after a bizarre finish to the sprint race.
Behind the podium places, Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Ducati) had another strong ride to fourth. Remy Gardner (GRT Yamaha) was fifth and Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Team) sixth.
Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven Ducati) pitched in with seventh place, 7.5 seconds down on the winner, with Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) eighth.
Jonathan Rea (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Team) and Michael Ruben Rinaldi (MotoCorsa Racing Ducati) held off the first official Honda of Xavi Vierge (HRC Honda) for tenth.

Sunday WorldSSP Race Two
Adrian Huertas (Aruba Racing Ducati) once again took the honors in the WorldSSP class after making a breakaway from the warring factions that fought out a sometimes tactile battle behind him.
Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) pushed on to a high degree to try and peg back Huertas, but it no avail. He ended up 2.821 seconds behind at the flag, after 19-laps of track temperatures of 53°C, and ambient temperatures that reached 33°C.
A hard duel between Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) and Valentin Debise (Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha) eventually went the way of the Italian rider – but only because Debise was punished for exceeding track limits on the last lap.
Adrian Huertas topped WorldSSP once again.
Both podium contenders went for it into the first corner of the final lap and both ran wide. Debise went over the track limits on the inside to come back out still in third place, but only after Montella had also recovered his composure.
Attempting to pass Debise on track on the fast approach to the final two corners, Montella actually tagged the exhaust of the Evan Bros Yamaha R6, bending it upwards and running himself wide. Montella ran onto the grass for some distance at over 200 kmph, leaving Debise to cross the line third, but end up fourth.
Jorge Navarro (Orelac Racing VerdNatura Ducati) placed fifth, and the top MV rider was Federico Caricasulo (Motozoo ME AIR Racing MV Agusta) in sixth place.
Glenn van Straalen (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) was an eventually lonely seventh.
Niki Tuuli (EAB Racing Ducati) led home Marcel Schrötter (MV Agusta Reparto Corse). A tough race for Can Öncü (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) saw him round out the top ten.
In the championship standings, after half the season has elapsed, Huertas enjoys a 46 point lead, with his 236 points playing Montella’s 190. Huertas has won eight races so far, and the last six in succession. Manzi is third overall on 183 and Debise is fourth with 130.

Saturday WorldSBK Race One
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) started from pole and eased away from the field from the first turn to win by over five seconds, hoisting a massive celebratory stand-up wheelie across the finishing line.
With many other official riders in various degrees of trouble down the field two independent riders, Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Ducati) and Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven Ducati) would take the other two podium places.
It’s just too easy for Toprak these days.
Iannone dropped back from the second place duel for a time but got close to Petrucci on the final lap, ending up just 0.141 seconds down after 22-tough circuits a track with over 20 corners along its 4.212km length.
Off podium, Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) recovered well from his fourth row start to take fourth, albeit 9.2 seconds from Razgatlioglu – and behind two private Ducati riders to boot.
Remy Gardner (GRT Yamaha) was fifth and a fading Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) sixth.
Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Team) placed seventh and Garrett Gerloff (Bonovo Action BMW) eighth.
Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) and Superpole struggler Jonathan Rea (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Team) completed the top ten.
Two more races on Sunday for the WorldSBK riders.

WorldSSP Race Two
Unusually, Adrian Huertas (Aruba Racing Ducati) did not have his regular fellow Ducati rival to deal with in the opening WorldSSP Race at Most. Eventually, he had nothing to deal with except the lap-counter as he rode to yet another 2024 season race win.
Another win for Adrian Huertas in WorldSSP.
A late shuffle of the small pack of three riders behind Huertas saw Frenchman Valentin Debise (Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha) take second from Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) and the rapidly fading Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) finish in fourth place.
Well behind the podium squabbling trio, Federico Caricasulo (Motozoo ME AIR Racing MV Agusta) was fifth.
Lucas Mahias (GMT94 Yamaha) just managed to keep the rapidly approaching Marcel Schrötter (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) behind him over the finish line, with Mahias sixth and Schrötter seventh.
Glenn van Straalen (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) and top Triumph rider Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph) were eighth and nine respectively. The top ten was rounded out by Niki Tuuli (EAB Racing Ducati). One more race on Sunday for the WorldSSP hordes at Most.

Friday WorldSBK
Just a few days after his triple winning display at Donington Park Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) smashed his way to the fastest time on day one at the Autodrom Most in Czechia. The tall Turk was only 0.103 seconds ahead of the second placed rider, Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) but Toprak was fully half a second ahead of his third placed rival, Jonathan Rea (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Team).
Toprak does it again on Friday.
In second place for some time, Alex Lowes (Kawasaki Racing Team) would end up fourth, as Bautista and Rea put in fast runs at the correct times.
Ducati works rider Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) was fifth on day one. The top Independent Rider was Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Ducati), in sixth position in the combined timesheets.
Remy Gardner (GRT Yamaha) was seventh fastest, and the first of the few riders who had to rely in their FP1 time for their best lap time.
Michael van der Mark (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) went eighth, with strong Donington rider, Scott Redding (Bonovo Action BMW) ninth and Andrea Locatelli (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Team) tenth.

Friday WorldSSP
The Friday Superpole qualifying session that was introduced for 2024 was held in hot and dry conditions at Most. Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team Ducati) eased out championship leader Adrian Huertas (Aruba Racing Ducati) by 0.155 seconds – despite all Ducati riders having their throttle openings reduced in one part of the power band from this race onward.
Yari Montella topped WorldSSP on Friday.
Two Yamahas, from Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) and Valentin Debise (Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha) followed the Ducati duo home in the pre-race timesheets.
Federico Caricasulo (Motozoo ME AIR Racing MV Agusta) was over a second behind the leading rider with his fifth best Superpole time.
Bahattin Sofuoglu (MV Agusta Reparto Corse F3 800 RR) squeezed the first MV into the top six places, with Jorge Navarro (Orelac Racing VerdNatura Ducati) seventh and the other main MV rider, Marcel Schrötter (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) eighth.
Another bright performance from Tom Edwards (D34G Racing Ducati) put him ninth, one place up on former World Champion, Lucas Mahias (GMT94 Yamaha).
Race One takes place on Saturday 20 July, at 15.15 local time in Most.
